2024 Registration is now open!
State League Program
State League, or the Victorian Volleyball League (VVL), is Victoria’s predominant volleyball competition, involving many clubs from across the state.
The State League Program at VFUM is our main avenue for player development and competitive volleyball, and is perfect for those wishing to push themselves and become the best player they can be.
Our state league players are supported by our esteemed coaching staff, committee members and get to be a part of our positive and inclusive club culture.
Our History in State League
Since our first year into state league in 2021 with only 2 men’s and 2 women’s teams, we have expanded into over 12 teams across all divisions and genders. We currently provide options for both juniors and senior athletes to play at multiple levels throughout VVL, we currently have our sights set on the premier’s division and will have teams entered in the near future.
How do I join?
Every year VFUM holds tryouts during the state league off-season, during December and January. We run multiple sessions with our coaches, which allow you to give them multiple chances to see your best self and get selected for the team. We then go through multiple rounds of call-backs before settling on the final team.
If you’ve missed the trials period, but still wish to play for us, register your interest below. We would hate to turn away someone with a good attitude that would add to our volleyball family if possible!
Aswell as that, we offer training only positions on the team for those wishing to get training with our squads.
